Women's Book Club 5. Wed., Nov. 20: Antisemitism Here and Now by Deborah Lipstadt. Published in 2019 but very relevant to today. Written as a series of letters to two composite characters -- a Jewish college student and a non-Jewish law professor, the author seeks to understand the resurgence of anti- semitism, today even more public than it was in 2019. 6. Wed., Dec. 18: The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams. A motherless child spends her childhood in a garden shed in Oxford where her father and a team of lexicographers are collecting words for the first Oxford English Dictionary. She collects words that the dictionary men discard that are related to women and begins to search out words for her own dictionary.
